THE FUN FARM AT STA.ELENA
Perfect for: A nature-cozy, animal-loving family. Run wild and free with your younger siblings and little cousins side-by-side horses and ducks.
Why We Love It: The farm is located less than an hour away from Manila—a great alternative to when you need a quick getaway but you don’t want to hang out at the air-conditioned but crowded mall.
What to Do: Prepare to sweat and stink as you climb ropes and feed the animals. Ride any of the 12 horses, help herd the sheep into the fields or try boating in the lake with the ducks! If you’re not up for some animal interaction, there’s the teepee fortress with zipline, a rope jungle gym and a wooden obstacle course. We said sweat and stink, right? Think of it as going back to your iPhone-free childhood summers in the province! The Fun Farm at Sta. Elena is located at Sta. Elena Golf and Country Estate, Cabuyao, Laguna GK
ENCHANTED FARM
Perfect for: Volun-tourists looking for inspiration and fulfillment in a day-long immersion. If you’re not ready to dive full force into volunteerism, this is a great way to get your feet wet. Why We Love It: There’s a different vibe in Enchanted Farm, from the local community they’ve adopted to the friendly faces of the volunteers.
What to Do: Meet the community. GK fosters a local community made up of 50 families, all active in the Enchanted Farm. Try your hand at sewing stuffed toys for the enterprise Push and Play. Don’t leave without heading to the Enchanted Farm Café and try their lunch buffet (P350) and famous food enterprise products.
GK Enchanted Farm is located at Pandi-Angat Road, Angat, Bulacan
SANDBOX AT ALVIERA
Perfect for: Sporty friends who want a new challenge in a different terrain. There are obstacle courses, steep climbs, and a roller coaster zipline.
Why We Love It: Aside from the adrenaline rush, it involves a road trip to Pampanga and the promise of a food trip after fat-burning games—yes to Guagua’s halo-halo! Plus, there’s an unbeatable view of the sunset atop mountains.
What to Do: The 39-ft high Giant Swing (P100) offers the sensation of your soul leaving your body—just for a while, we promise! 28 obstacles make up the Aerial Walk (P200) and the five-minute time challenge to complete each one will keep you on your toes. Release your inner Katniss and shoot arrows at the Outdoor Archery (P250 for 30mins/P400 for 1 hour).
Sandbox is open every Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm. Visit for more information
