London for the Month of Love
From our last month’s trip in Monte Carlo, we explore more of Europe as we travel to London.
Aside from being the most visited city in the world, London also ranks as one of the world’s leading financial center. It consists of many of both historical and contemporary structures.
Roaming the city of London is quite easy with the different modes of transportation available for tourists and locals alike—accessible anywhere and in any time of the day. The most iconic is the red double-decker bus picking up and dropping off tourists to their destinations. London streets are also not over crowded by private and public cars so one can also prefer walking along the sidewalks for a much better feel of the city.
One the most loved tourist attractions is the Palace of Westminster constructed along the River Thames and still serves as the official seat of governance of the royal family and parliament. Also located within its premises is the ever famous Big Ben, a clock tower housing the largest bell in United Kingdom. You may also visit the highest skyscraper in the capital, The Shard. Pass across the Tower Bridge as you visit the Tower of London, a fort located north of the River Thames and is considered as a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site.
Furthermore, shop and dine in the Covent Garden and the Leadenhall Market. Famous not only for its unique architectural beauty and rich history, it also sells unique items and souvenirs. Lastly, see the magnificent view of the city as you ride the iconic London Eye.
Revel in the beauty of London and fall deeply in love with it this February. Enjoy the spectacular sceneries and spend a romantic moment with your loved ones in this charming city.
